Kelm. 38 silk pages; 10.5 x 7.5 pages; edition approximately 75.
43, According to Robin Price, with Annotated Bibliography
Chosen by Mark Dimunation, Chief of the Rare Book and Special Collections Division, Library of Congress, for First Prize at the 2012 Pyramid Atlantic Book Arts Fair:43 poses a difficult journey, to follow the meaning of a number as time, age, location, space, and sequence. The artist unfolds this journey in an artful fashion -- intimate and yet engaging. This is a masterful presentation of a unique and creative approach to the book and to book arts.

Neue Studios filmed and produced the video introduction to the Letterpress Apprenticeship Fundraising Appeal. In the course of assembling that video, filmmaker Eric Leone was inspired to create this video, "A Handmade Experience," in addition. It documents the process of Robin Price's work on As You Continue, an artist's book created in celebration of John Cage's 100th birthday. Studio footage is paired with Robin's spoken reflections on the significance of the project and its methods. Price used her left (non-dominant) hand in writing the quotation by Cage.
A Handmade Experience from Paul Horton on Vimeo.

Catalog design by Mark Zurolo and Lesley Tucker, printed on acid-free paper at Finlay Printing. 12 x 9 in.; 144 pp.; 140 color ill.; 49 monochrome ill.; paper covers in thirty random variations generated on press using chance operations.
