An improvisatory environment
Maya’s impromptu lamp shade! Transforming sheets chosen from the piles of available paper, including: a letterpress ink gradation from making temporary, a cyanotype (deep blue, at center), and a press-clean-up-ink sheet, before cleaning rollers
An array of markmaking supplies, helpful tools & equipment
Learning from each other, experimenting collaboratively and/or solo, sharing skills, laughing
Starting with a pastepaper from available paper piles, Jared drew a blue winged bat, and began pondering the next step

Featuring plenty-o’ paper with mileage
(pre-printed or otherwise marked; who wants to start with a blank canvas?)

no *correct* way of doing it, other than imperfectly. Snacks & friends welcome.

starting with a blank sheet except for the xerox of cat fur by https://www.instagram.com/lollouanne/, Pierre quickly created the fantastic landscape, then I added a bit more color — now that’s a blind collaboration! We just kept the sheet going around the studio, without talking about it.
Early in a four-way (plus baby Marlo) blind collaboration, using leftover sheets from 2004 press book The Anatomy Lesson. The papers circulated clockwise; folx remained in place.
